Slow Cooker White Turkey Chili

An award winning recipe from Mary Torell with the Nebraska Department of Agriculture Poultry and Egg Division, Lincoln, NE

chopped onion:
1 Cup
chopped celery:
1 Cup
COOKED TURKEY, chopped:
4 Cups
great Northern beans, drained:
2 (15.5-Ounce) Cans
white shoepeg corn, undrained:
2 (11-Ounce) Cans
chopped green chilies:
1 (4-Ounce) Can
TURKEY BROTH:
1 Quart
ground cumin:
1 Teaspoon
Mozzarella cheese, grated:
1/2 Cup
 

Place cooked turkey and other ingredients, except Mozzarella in a slow cooker. Mix well and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.

For a thicker sauce, remove the cover for the last hour. 

Serve hot in shallow bowls and sprinkle each with Mozzarella cheese.
