| Marinated Red Onions |
| 3 Tablespoons white wine vinegar |
| 1 Tablespoon Dijon style mustard |
| 1-1/2 Teaspoons black pepper, freshly ground |
| 1/2 Cup olive oil |
| 3 Each red onions, sliced thin |
| 24 Slices pumpernickel or caraway bread |
| 3/4 Cup Dijon style mustard |
| 3 Pounds SMOKED TURKEY HAM, thinly sliced |
| 18 Ounces Muenster cheese, sliced |

- Combine vinegar, 1-tablespoon mustard, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Whisk in olive oil until smooth.
- Add the onions and let stand 15-20 minutes.
- Spread 12 slices of bread with Dijon mustard.
- Top each slice of bread with 4 ounces of thinly sliced smoked turkey ham.
- Top turkey ham with a 1-1/2 ounces of cheese.
- Arrange marinated red onion mixture on top of turkey ham.
- Top with the other slice of bread. Slice on the diagonal and serve.
