Homemade Turkey Breakfast Sausage
| 1 Pound GROUND TURKEY, cold |
| 2 Drops liquid smoke |
| 2 Teaspoons salt |
| 1-1/4 Teaspoons dried sage leaves |
| 1 Teaspoon sugar |
| 1/2 Teaspoon ground ginger |
| 1 Teaspoon poultry seasonings |
| 1/2 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
| 1/8 Teaspoon cayenne pepper |
| |
- Thoroughly mix all ingredients together. Form into 6 patties.
- Cover and refrigerate for several hours to allow the flavors to permeate.
- To cook: spray a non-stick frying pan with cooking spray. Add patties and cook over medium heat, turning once, until browned and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
