Wings and Drumsticks in Sweet and Spicy Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
4 TURKEY WINGS, remove and discard tips
4 Small TURKEY DRUMSTICKS
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 Medium sweet onion, chopped fine
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
3/4 Cup ketchup
1/4 Cup fresh lemon juice
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 Teaspoon chili powder
To taste Tabasco
 
  1. Parboil the wings and drumsticks for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill.
  3. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, add oil and sauté onions about 2 minutes. Reduce heat. Add sugar, continue to cook and stir on medium heat for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add all other ingredients. Reserve half of the sauce.
  4. Brush the drained turkey pieces with sauce.
  5. Grill the wings and drumsticks on a lightly oiled grill about 5 inches from the heat. Brush often during the cooking process and grill about 15 minutes on each side.
  6. Continue to grill until the internal temperature is 165 degrees F in the thickest part of the wing and 175 degrees F in the thickest part of the drumstick.
  7. Serve with reserved sauce.
