Slow Cooker Turkey Chili and Beans
| Ingredients |
| 1 Pound GROUND TURKEY |
| 2 14-Oz. Cans whole peeled tomatoes, drained |
| 2 14-Oz. Cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed |
| 1 14-Oz. Can black beans, drained and rinsed |
| 1 12-Oz. Can tomato sauce |
| 1 Cup finely chopped celery |
| 1 Cup finely chopped carrot |
| 1 Cup finely chopped onion |
| 3 Tablespoons chili powder |
| 4 Teaspoons ground cumin |
| 2 Teaspoons ground red pepper |
| 1 Teaspoon salt |
| 1/2 Cup Amaretto |
| 1/2 Cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded |
| |
- Cook ground turkey in a heavy skillet over medium heat until the pink color disappears.
- Place cooked ground turkey and all other ingredients, EXCEPT cheese in a slow cooker. Mix well and cook on HIGH for 7 hours.
- For a thicker sauce, remove the cover for the last hour.
- Garnish with cheese.
