Apple Sage Turkey Sausage

Ingredients
1/3 Pound GROUND TURKEY
1/3 Pound ground pork
1/2 Cup tart, crisp apple, peeled and diced small
1/2 Cup onion, diced small
2 Teaspoons fresh sage leaves
2 Tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
To Taste salt and freshly ground black pepper
 
  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix gently, but thoroughly. The mixture may be stuffed into 1-ounce sausage casings or shaped into 1-ounce patties.
  2. Bake, on a rack, in a preheated 325 degree F oven or on a preheated 325 degree F flat top griddle until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
