Apple Sage Turkey Sausage
| Ingredients |
| 1/3 Pound GROUND TURKEY |
| 1/3 Pound ground pork |
| 1/2 Cup tart, crisp apple, peeled and diced small |
| 1/2 Cup onion, diced small |
| 2 Teaspoons fresh sage leaves |
| 2 Tablespoons fresh thyme leaves |
| To Taste salt and freshly ground black pepper |
| |
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix gently, but thoroughly. The mixture may be stuffed into 1-ounce sausage casings or shaped into 1-ounce patties.
- Bake, on a rack, in a preheated 325 degree F oven or on a preheated 325 degree F flat top griddle until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
