Grilled Turkey, Apple and Cheese Sandwich
| Ingredients |
| 8 Slices marbled rye bread |
| 1/3 Cup honey mustard |
| 3/4 Pound ROASTED TURKEY, sliced thin |
| 1 Large tart red apples, unpeeled, cored and sliced thin |
| 4 Ounces smoked Gouda cheese, cut in 1-ounce slices |
| 1/4 Cup unsalted butter, softened |
| |
- Spread one side of each bread slice with mustard. Top each of 4 bread slices with 3-ounces turkey, 4 to 5 apple slices and 1 ounce cheese. Cover with second slice of bread, mustard facing down.
- Spread outside of bread with butter. Place sandwiches on preheated grill or in hot skillet.
- Cook over medium heat until bread is golden, about 4 minutes. Turn and grill second side of sandwich until cheese is melted and bread is golden on both sides.
- Cut in half and serve immediately.
