Turkey Taco Burgers

Ingredients
1 Pound GROUND TURKEY, recommend blend of white/dark turkey or all dark
1/4 Cup spicy taco sauce
1/2 Teaspoon salt
4 Slices reduced-fat Monterey Jack cheese, (1 ounce each)
4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
4 Tablespoons guacamole
 
  1. Remove grill rack from charcoal grill. Prepare grill for direct heat cooking method.
  2. In medium bowl combine turkey, taco sauce and salt. Shape into 4 burgers, about 1/2-inch thick.
  3. Spray cold grill rack with non-stick spray and position over hot coals. Grill turkey burgers, 4 inches from the heat, for 5 to 6 minutes per side or until 165 degrees F is reached on meat thermometer. Top each burger with a slice of cheese for the last minute of grilling time.
  4. To serve, place each turkey burger on bottom half of bun and top with a tablespoon of guacamole. Place top half of bun on burger.
