Grilled Turkey, Smoked Gouda and Apple Sandwich
| 24 Slices marble rye bread |
| 1 Cup honey mustard |
| 2-1/4 Pounds OVEN ROASTED TURKEY BREAST, thinly sliced |
| 3 medium unpeeled tart red apples, such as Gala, cored and thinly sliced |
| 1-1/2 Pounds smoked Gouda cheese, sliced |
| 3/4 Cup unsalted butter, softened |
| |
- Spread one side of all bread with mustard. Top mustard side of 12 bread slices with 3-ounces sliced turkey, 4 to 5 apple slices and 1-ounce sliced Gouda.
- Cover with remaining bread slices, mustard-side down.
- Spread outsides of sandwiches with softened butter.
- Per order: preheat a flat top griddle or large skillet over medium heat and grill sandwiches. Cook 2 to 4 minutes on each side or until cheese has melted and bread is golden brown on both sides.
- Cut in half.
