Grilled Turkey, Smoked Gouda and Apple Sandwich

24 Slices marble rye bread
1 Cup honey mustard
2-1/4 Pounds OVEN ROASTED TURKEY BREAST, thinly sliced
3 medium unpeeled tart red apples, such as Gala, cored and thinly sliced
1-1/2 Pounds smoked Gouda cheese, sliced
3/4 Cup unsalted butter, softened
 
  1. Spread one side of all bread with mustard. Top mustard side of 12 bread slices with 3-ounces sliced turkey, 4 to 5 apple slices and 1-ounce sliced Gouda.
  2. Cover with remaining bread slices, mustard-side down.
  3. Spread outsides of sandwiches with softened butter.
  4. Per order: preheat a flat top griddle or large skillet over medium heat and grill sandwiches. Cook 2 to 4 minutes on each side or until cheese has melted and bread is golden brown on both sides.
  5. Cut in half.
