Mexican Pizza
| Ingredients |
| 1/4 ounce bakers yeast |
| 2 1/2 cups bread flour |
| 1 cup water, lukewarm |
| 1/4 teaspoon sugar |
| 2 teaspoons salt |
| 2 tablespoons olive oil |
| 2 teaspoons garlic, minced |
| 1 tablespoon basil, dry |
| 3 ounces green chile paste, (see recipe in database) |
| 1 medium onion, sliced |
| 12 ounces SMOKED TURKEY BREAST, shredded |
| 1 cup Pepper Jack cheese, grated |
| 1 cup Mozzarella, shredded |
| 1 red pepper, roasted, seeded and peeled |
| |
- Make dough from first eight ingredients using straight dough method and rise once, punch down and roll into 14" circle or use commercial 14" frozen pizza shell.
- Spread on Green Chile Paste and top with onions and turkey.
- Top with cheeses and arrange red peppers attractively on top.
- Bake on stone at 375 degrees F for 12-14 minutes. Cut in eight slices.
