Mother’s Cranberry Sauce
| 3/4 Cup cold water |
| 1/4 Cup orange juice |
| 1 Cup white sugar |
| 3 Cups fresh or frozen cranberries |
| 3/4 Teaspoon freshly grated orange zest |

- In a medium saucepan, boil water, juice and sugar over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
- Add cranberries and simmer, stirring occasionally, until berries just pop, about 10-12 minutes. Stir in orange zest.
- Cool, cover and store in refrigerator for up to 3 days.
