U.S. poultry and egg companies strongly support President Obama’s announcement during the recent G-20 summit that the Administration will resume its efforts to gain Congressional approval of the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement. National Turkey Federation (NTF) yesterday honored Dr. Geraldine Huff, a microbiologist at the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agriculture Research Service (ARS), with the 2010 NTF Research Award for her dedication and excellence in providing the turkey industry with empirical research on bacterial infections in turkeys.  The award was presented to Huff during the Poultry Science Association’s Annual Meeting.
