Call for Nominations: T.O.M. "Turkey on the Menu" Awards

August 19, 2013

The Turkey on the Menu (T.O.M.) Award promotes turkey’s versatility and taste to recognize excellence of foodservice operations featuring turkey on their menus.

During September, each NTF processor member is asked to select at least one foodservice operation of any size (restaurant chain, single location or curbside operation) — and may ask that their nomination remain anonymous. Past award winners may be re-nominated, provided the turkey item is a new menu offering from that foodservice operation. Foodservice nominations should be made through this fillable pdf form.
NTF members may submit one nominee in one or all four categories:
Fast Food/ Fast Casual
Restaurants emphasizing speed of service; usually not offering full table service, often providing disposable plates and cutlery.
Casual Dining/ Mid-Scale
Moderately-priced food in a casual atmosphere, offering table service.
Fine Dining
Full-service restaurants with specific, dedicated meal courses. The wait staff is usually highly-trained, often wearing more formal attire. Fine dining restaurants have certain rules of dining (dress code) visitors are expected to follow.
Food service operations not located within typical establishments.(universities, supermarkets, food trucks)
