National Turkey Federation (NTF) Offers New RecipeE-mail Program for Hungry Operators
NTF makes it easy for culinary professionals to receive creative turkey ideas

WASHINGTON, DC (September 2003) - The National Turkey Federation (NTF) has launched a new RecipE-mail Program at www.eatturkey.com in response to the 60 percent increase in the number of turkey recipes viewed by foodservice operators in 2003. Chefs and culinary professionals can sign up to receive recipes, turkey trends and news every month, packaged in an attractive HTML format with dynamic graphics and color photography.

To enroll, operators simply log on to www.eatturkey.com, click on the "RecipE-mail Program" icon and choose foodservice, then follow the simple instructions. With more than 600 recipes and 30 chef demonstrations in the online database, subscribers have access to a wide variety of menu ideas and applications delivered right to their inboxes.

"Our recipe database is the most popular section of our Web site," says Sherrie Rosenblatt, NTF's director of public relations. "We wanted to make it easy for chefs to regularly receive creative menu ideas from that source. Now with colorful graphics and images of finished turkey recipes, the program is both inspirational and informative."

The recent installment of the program featured a Smoked Turkey Breast Ratatouille Melt Sandwich, turkey burger trends from Jack in the Box® and turkey training modules for educators and chefs.

The National Turkey Federation is the advocate for all segments of the U.S. turkey industry. It's award winning web site www.eatturkey.com offers successful on-line professional chef cooking demonstrations and a searchable database of more than 300 recipes that exhibit turkey's versatility as a profit-building item, which enhances menus in all meal occasions during every season of the year. Operators can also go to www.eatturkey.com to sign up for the RecipE-mail program to register and receive unique recipe ideas that add flair to holiday and special occasion menus year-round.
