Recipe provided by the National Onion Association.
Heat oil over medium heat. Gently sauté onions in oil until tender and golden.
Add vinegar and cook about 2 minutes or until liquid has almost evaporated. Allow to cool slightly.
Divide lettuce onto rolls.
Place 4-ounces turkey on each roll. Top with onions, cracked black pepper and oregano leaves.
Garnish with grape tomatoes.
