National Turkey Federation Promotes Two Staff Members

National Turkey Federation (NTF) President Joel Brandenberger announced the promotion of two NTF staff members: Adrienne Richards to public relations manager and Anne Willis to legislative manager.

“The federation is fortunate to have two dedicated and professional staff members who have made significant contributions to NTF in achieving the long-term goal to protect and promote the industry,” said Brandenberger.
As public relations manager, Richards will oversee the federation’s consumer and foodservice public relations campaign to generate more interest in turkey consumption and drive consumer and foodservice professionals to learn more on NTF’s Web site, In her new role, she will also manage NTF’s social media presence, write articles for trade publications, along with other communication materials for the federation.
Richards joined NTF in 2007 as NTF’s public relations coordinator. In her most recent position as public relations specialist, she organized a consumer and foodservice news release series that included the launch of NTF’s recipe video library, which saw increased consumer and media attention. Richards is a graduate of Wilkes University where she received a bachelor’s degree in communication studies.
As legislative manager, Willis will be responsible for all aspects of NTF’s lobbying program. Willis will develop and implement programs to ensure maximum grassroots involvement from NTF members in the federation’s lobbying activities. In her new role, she will work with the federation’s membership to develop policies that could affect the turkey industry’s operations will have a presence on Capitol Hill to ensure those policies are implemented.
Willis joined NTF in 2008 as legislative coordinator. During that time, she organized an impressive political action committee campaign for the federation. Willis is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she received a bachelor’s degree in environmental geosciences.
