The National Turkey Federation (NTF) and Restaurants & Institutions Magazine have teamed up in search of the top three turkey trendsetters who create mouth-watering recipes that mix delicious flavor and versatility into delectable new dishes. The lucky three will be featured in Restaurants & Institutions and win great prizes.

"We're looking for innovators. Their recipes should reflect today's world fare that satisfy consumer's hunger with turkey products," said Sherrie Rosenblatt, NTF's senior director of marketing and communications. "Trendsetters understand turkey's versatility, good taste and excellent nutrition profiles." The recipes will be judged by NTF and Restaurants & Institutions Magazine.

Winners will earn prizes generously donated by the Edlund Company. First place winners will receive an Edlund 5-Star Mechanical Scale, second is an Edlund Stainless Steel 12-inch knife block, and third place is a set of Edlund Stainless Steel Tongs. The contest concludes at the end of April. Contestants can apply by completing an application at www.rimag.com or at EatTurkey.com.

"We're excited to find the next great recipe," said Rosenblatt. "We're looking for assertive flavors, engaging dishes with signature looks or textures that will inspire other operators to serve turkey on their menus. Recipes that demonstrate turkey's adaptability to any food style are sure to spark attention."
