Chef Jenny Huston

Chef Jenny Huston spent years honing her culinary skills in reputable restaurants throughout New York City and the San Francisco Bay area, including Chez Panisse, until one day, she decided she would like to try her own entrepreneurial skills.

It was at this time that Chef Huston decided to open her own catering business: J. Huston Catering in San Francisco, CA. Today Chef Huston caters to San Francisco's elite, organizing private, high-end parties. She serves country-style foods, often in a buffet setting, utilizing European cooking methods common to the San Francisco region. She also teaches culinary classes at the California Culinary Academy and is in her final year working toward a food sciences and technology degree at San José State University.

Chef Huston graduated from the California Culinary Academy and has been a consultant to Carmenet Vineyards in Sonoma, CA. Her awards include: a bronze medal from the Prosciuto di Parma Chef Recipe Competition; a finalist honor in the American Culinary Federation/US Department of Agriculture School Lunch Challenge and the winner of the entrée category in the National Turkey Federation's 1999 "Turkey with a Twist" National Recipe Competition.
